February 5, 2007 - USC Trojan Kicker Mario Danelo's Blood Alcohol Level was 0.27
Los Angeles, California. The results of Mario Danelo's autopsy revealed a 0.27 blood alcohol level. That is three times the legal limit of California. Many Trojan Football players asserted Mario would not have taken his own life. A 0.27 BAL certainly could support the theory of a horrible accident. However, police at this time have not finished their investigation.

 

February 1, 2007 - Prison Break Star Lane Garrison May Face Vehicular Manslaughter Charges
Los Angeles, California. Lane Garrison's blood test results revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.20. This is very bad news for Lane. A passenger, age 17, Vahaghn Setian died in the crash caused by Lane Garrison. Most likely the prosecuting attorney will file the following charges: Vehicular Manslaugher, DUI, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

 

January 6, 2007 - USC Kicker Mario Danelo Found Dead
Mario Danelo Los Angeles, California. Mario Danelo, the USC Trojan Kicker, was found dead at the bottom of a cliff. There is no indication of how Mario Danelo ended up at the bottom of the cliff. Police are still investigating and an autopsy may lead to answers. Danelo holds the NCAA single season record for extra points made and extra point attempts.

 

December 29, 2006 - Mike Tyson arrested for DUI
Mike Tyson DUI Scottsdale, Arizona. Mike Tyson was arrested for DUI early Friday morning. A Buckeye Police Department, DUI Task Force police officer noted Mike Tyson was operating his BMW in an erratic manner. Tyson voluntarily submitted to the field sobriety tests and exhibited evidence of impairment. Police officers discovered baggies of white powdery substance and Tyson admitted to ingesting cocaine. Mike Tyson attended a preliminary hearing in which Superior Court Shelia Madden imposed various conditions of release.

 

December 15, 2006 - Former Phish Member Trey Anastasio arrested for DUI
Whitehall, New York. Former Phish member Trey Anastasio was arrested for DUI. Police noted Anastasio was having difficulty keeping his vehicle within his lane of travel. Trey Anastasio's vehicle kept pulling to the right. During the DUI investigation police discovered various painkillers including Percocet, Xanax and hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is also known as Vicodin. Trey Anastasio also was driving with a suspended New York driver's license.

 

December 11, 2006 - Nicole Richie arrested for DUI
Nicole Richie DUI Burbank, California. Nicole Richie, of Simple Life, was arrested for DUI in the early hours of December 11. Nicole Richie was driving in the wrong direction on State Highway 134. During the DUI investigation, Nicole Richie made an admission to consuming the painkiller Vicodin and smoking Marijuana. No drugs were located in her vehicle or on her person. The police tested Nicole Richie for drugs but the test analysis is not yet completed.

 

December 9, 2006 - Deltha O'Neal arrested for DUI
Clermont County, Ohio. Cincinnati Bengals can add another to the long list of players that have been arrested this year. Deltha O'Neal went through a DUI Checkpoint with a 0.10 breath alcohol reading last night. Deltha's teammate Chris Henry was arrested for DUI in the same county.

 

December 4, 2006 -Lane Garrison of Prison Break arrested for DUI
Beverly Hills, California. Lane Garrison of the Fox hits series Prison Break drove his SUV into a tree over the weekend. Lane Garrison had passengers in his vehicle during the accident. A 17 year old male was killed as a result of the accident. The investigating police officers noted Lane Garrison exhibited symptoms of being under the influence. A sample of Lane Garrison's blood was taken because of the fatality accident, and will be tested for intoxicants.

 

December 4, 2006 - Rip Torn arrested for DUI
Rip Torn DUI North Salem, N.Y. Actor Rip Torn was arrested for Driving Under the Influence on Monday. Rip Torn was contacted by police officers after a collision. No one was hurt from the collision. Rip refused to perform field sobriety tests. Two years ago Rip Torn was acquitted of DUI by a New York jury.

 

November 28, 2006 - Tracy Morgan of 30 Rock and a SNL alum arrested for DUI
New York, New York. Tracy Morgan arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) allegedly providing a failed breath test result. Tracy Morgan was arrested just last December for DUI in Hollywood, California with a breath test result of 0.13.

 

October 17, 2006 - Koren Robinson suspended by NFL for one year.
Koren Robinson DUI Koren Robinson, of the Green Bay Packers, was suspended by the NFL for one year for violating the league substance abuse policy. The suspension stems from a string of DUI arrests. Most notable is the August 15, 2006 arrest in Mankato, Minnesota. Koren Robinson attempted to allude police officers reaching speeds of 100 mph. His blood alcohol content reached 0.11 percent. Minnesota's legal breath limit is 0.08.

 

September 7, 2006 - Paris Hilton arrested for DUI
Los Angeles, California - Paris Hilton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Paris Hilton's publicist claims she had one drink and did not eat during the day. He further claimed she performed quite well on the field sobriety tests.

 

July 28, 2006 - Actor Mel Gibson arrested for DUI
Mel Gibson DUI Los Angeles, California - Mel Gibson, whom states he has battled alcoholism, relapsed and was arrested for DUI. Mel Gibson registered a breath alcohol reading of 0.12. The legal limit is 0.08 in California. During the arrest Mel Gibson made some harsh insults at the law enforcement officers that were sexist and anti-Semitic. He later publically apologized for his behavior.

 

July 20, 2006 - Haley Joel Osment Arrested for DUI
Los Angeles, California - Haley Joel Osment was arrested for DUI after being involved in a one car accident. Osment managed to flip his vehicle. During the DUI investigation, Haley Joel Osment's breath alcohol test results registered 0.16. This is double the legal limit for the State of California. He was also charged with Possession of Marijuana.

 

June 13, 2006 - J.J. Redick Arrested for DUI
J.J. Reddick DUI Durham County , North Carolina - The former Blue Devil basketball star J.J. Redick was arrested for DUI. This incident happened just weeks before the NBA draft. J.J. Redick attempted to avoid a license check point by turning his vehicle around. J.J. Redick provided a breath sample of 0.11. North Carolina's legal limit is 0.08.

 

May 28, 2006 - Pete Coors Arrested for DUI
Golden, Colorado - Pete Coors, of Coors Brewing Company and former U.S. Senate candidate, was arrested for DUI. Pete Coors supports more stringent drinking laws and was ashamed of his arrest. He was returning home from a wedding reception. Pete Coors breath alcohol sample registered 0.08. The legal limit in Colorado is 0.08.

 

February 16, 2006 - John Michael Montgomery Arrested for DUI
Lexington, Kentucky - John Michael Montgomery was arrested for DUI, Possession of a Controlled Drug, and Concealed Deadly Weapon crimes. Apparently, John Michael Montgomery had prescription pain killers in a different container than the one issued by the pharmacy.
