Zannie Williams DUIJackson County, Florida – March 17, 2008. Zannie Frank Williams, 47, is running for the Jackson County Sheriff position, but ran into some trouble yesterday.

Police allegedly state that Williams flipped his Buick on Blue Springs Road. The officer on the scene noted Zannie’s eyes were bloodshot and watery, and his breath smelled like intoxicants. The officer had Zannie perform field sobriety tests and apparently he failed them. This is not shocking since Zannie had just flipped his car. Nevertheless, Zannie was arrested and transported to the police station.

During processing, Zannie submitted to a breath test and registered readings of .187 and .190. The DUI legal limit for Florida is 0.08. Zannie was then booked into jail and was scheduled to appear in court early this morning.
