Tennessee Volunteers FootballKnoxville, Tennessee. My goodness the State of Tennessee is racking up celebrity DUI arrests this year. Britton Colquitt, the punter for the University of Tennessee, has been busted for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Britton collided with a parked car and vanished. Police soon located Britton who admittd to drinking, smashing into the parked car and colliding with a tree stump. He should have kept his mouth shut. During the contact, police noticed Britton’s speech was slurred and smelled of alcohol. Britton also demonstrated difficulty keeping his balance.

Earlier this year Britton declined to enter the NFL draft and return to the Volunteers for his senior year. Because of this incident the University of Tennesse has revoked Britton’s scholarship and suspended him from the team.

This was an obvious move for the Vols because Britton has been in trouble with the law previously with other alcohol related charges. In 2004, he faced various underage drinking crimes.
