Robertson, Alabama. NFL legend Ken Stabler, 62, can add his name a second time to the growing infamous list of athletes busted for DUI. Stabler had a distinguished football career playing for the New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and the Oakland Raiders. Stabler secured a Super Bowl championship for the Raiders in 1977.
The police are being very protective of Stabler’s privacy and have not revealed any facts surrounding the arrest. However, Stabler will be charged with DUI and reckless driving. This is the second time Stabler has been under investigation for DUI. In 2001 Stabler entered a plea of guilty to drunk driving.
Stabler is a radio analyst for his alma mater the University of Alabama. University officials are not releasing any comments at this time.
