Raymore, Missouri. For the past few years Michael Taylor has been prosecuting criminals and keeping his community safe. Unfortunately, Taylor will now experience being prosecuted as he was arrested for DUI.
Police officers witnessed Taylor’s Jeep weaving and executing a wide turn into oncoming traffic. During the DUI traffic stop Taylor had a strong odor of intoxicants, slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. Police also noted he was swaying during their conversation.
Taylor refused the breath test which is quite damning. Every prosecutor knows that refusing the breath test increases the mandatory DUI penalties, and every prosecutor knows it is more difficult to try a DUI without breath test evidence.
Shortly after his arrest Taylor resigned from the Cass County prosecutor’s office.
