Milford, Connecticut. Susan Bottacari, a Milford ice cream truck driver, was arrested for DUI in May of 2006. While operating her ice cream truck she nearly collided with a pedestrian. During the DUI investigation Susan Bottacari refused the alcohol test.

Recently, a Superior Court Judge allowed Bottacari to enter into an alcohol education program. By doing so, Bottacari avoids serving jail. Prosecutor Melanie Cradle was disappointed in the ruling. However, Bottacari’s license to sell ice cream was pulled and her driver’s license was suspended for six months. Bottacari has since reapplied for a new ice cream license.
