Pekin, Illinois. December 13, 2006. Greg Heiken has been a police officer for over 13 years. In 2004 Officer Heiken made more DUI arrests than any other police officer in Woodford County. Officer Heiken has been honored for his performance in DUI detection. However, even the best of us can be arrested for DUI.

Greg Heiken caused a chain reaction accident resulting in injuries for ten people. His vehicle rear-ended the vehicle in front of him. Apparently, Greg Heiken admitted to consuming alcohol while attending a local casino. Even though Officer Heiken understands the consequences of refusing a requested DUI breath or blood test, Officer Heiken did in fact refuse to submit to a blood test. However, a blood sample was obtained by law enforcement.

Anyone can be arrested for DUI. No one believes it can happen to them. No one really understands how easy it is to reach the legal limit. Even those that enforce our DUI laws can be arrested.
