Boise, Idaho. Emmaliza Casarez may not be the most observant individual on the planet, or she is not that grand of a mother. She was a front seat passenger when her 16 year old son was arrested for DUI.
Witnesses reported an erratic Nissan Maxima swerving about in Boise. Police responded and allegedly observed the Maxima have difficulty traveling in one traffic lane. During the investigation it was discovered that Casarez’s son was driving with a suspended driver’s license, and was under the influence. He lost his driving privilege from a previous DUI.
On the night of the arrest, Casarez’s son provided a whopping 0.20 blood alcohol breath sample. Idaho’s DUI legal limit is 0.08. Do not worry Emmaliza is not escaping the long arm of the law. She is charged with encouraging violations under the Youth Rehabilitation Act and injury to a child.
