Celebrity No Contest Pleas for DUI Related Charges

Hollywood CrimeLos Angeles, California. The criminal courts were abuzz with celebrity activity the past week. So many celebrities resolved their DUI cases I grouped them all in one post. Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Collins pleaded no contest to DUI and both were given jail time. Kiefer will be a guest behind bars for 48 days. I doubt Jack Bauer will be able to break out of that situation.

Vivica Fox received a reduction and enter a no contest plea to driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit of 0.08. Vivica avoided jail time, but must complete a 90 day alcohol education course and pay a fine.

Ray Liotta also received a reduction from his original DUI charge. Liotta entered a no contest plea to Reckless Driving. Liotta smashed his car into parked cars the night he was arrested for DUI.

We can only hope our Hollywood celebrities paid close attention to their colleagues this year. Dozens were arrested for DUI, and even Vehicular Homicide in 2007.
