Las Vegas, Nevada. Edward Lattin served twenty years as a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol. He attained the rank of sergeant and managed the unit that investigated auto accident fatalities. Ironically, Lattin found himself on the other end of a fatal accident investigation.

Sagle, Idaho. Erin Ellis Wert, 31, selected a poor place to take a nap in her Subaru. Wert stopped her vehicle on the train tracks at the crossing on Bottle Bay Road. She then fell into a deep sleep.
