I am stunned this kid is still on the streets. No has put this teen in jail because he has no prior convictions. California courts must have an unusual way to determining bail. In Washington State a judge must evaluate the defendant’s flight risk, and potential danger to the community. After his second DUI arrest the courts should have imposed a large bail. It might be possible Maher has not even been before a judge because these DUI are so recent.
